Community Visitor Social Volunteer, HammondCare at Home, Lake Macquarie NSW Spread Joy by joining our Volunteer Team The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person here in Hunter NSW. As a Volunteer Social Visitor, you will provide companionship and meaningful social interaction for older people living in their own homes. Regular visits help improve quality of life, reduce isolation, and bring great joy to the client you are matched with. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience both for the person you visit and for yourself. Regular visits improve quality of life and reduce isolation, and bring great joy to clients. HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We run the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government. Commitment Regular – more than 6 months Time Required One hour visit, any time between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, weekly to fortnightly.
