About the Role: This role is responsible for the provision of specialist clinical (assessment and treatment) services to clients referred for Hand Therapy at Northern Hospital Epping and Craigieburn Centre including provision of services to the Hand Therapy procedure unit. This position is fixed term full time (behind Maternity leave). Job share, part-time considered. Requirements: The following will contribute to success in this role: Experience and good working knowledge of the role of Hand Therapy in the acute hospital environment (or similar) Specialist postgraduate training and/or experience in Plastics/Hand Therapy, with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant clinical practice including management of acute hand trauma. Well informed of current developments in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and Hand Therapy. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Proven ability to work autonomously and part of a team. Committed to life-long learning and development. Next Steps.
