Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Grade 2 Hand Therapy practitioners – Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join the Hand Therapy team. About the Role This role is responsible for the provision of specialist clinical (assessment and treatment) services to clients referred for Hand Therapy at Northern Hospital Epping and Craigieburn Centre including provision of services to the Hand Therapy procedure unit. This position is fixed term full time (behind Maternity leave). Job share, part-time considered. Qualifications and Experience Experience and good working knowledge of the role of Hand Therapy in the acute hospital environment (or similar) Specialist postgraduate training and/or experience in Plastics/Hand Therapy, with a minimum of 2-3years of relevant clinical practice including management of acute hand trauma. Well informed of current developments in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and Hand Therapy. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
