Technology and Data Architecture Lead – Outsized Start Date : ASAP We are supporting a consulting firm engaged with a major transport organisation in hiring a Technology and Data Architecture Lead to transform the commuter disruption experience. This hands‑on role involves analysing current‑state challenges, designing a future‑state architecture, and developing a phased roadmap that leverages AI, automation, and data integration to improve disruption prediction, operational response, and customer communication. You'll work across cloud platforms, spatial / GIS systems, asset management, workflow integration, and open data APIs—providing technical leadership to ensure solutions are scalable, data‑driven, and aligned with customer needs. Key Responsibilities Current‑State Architecture Assessment: Analyse the existing technology stack to map data flows, integration points, and manual processes within the commuter disruption experience Integrated Architecture Design: Design a future‑state architecture that enables seamless integration between engineering systems, operational platforms, and public‑facing data streams to support real‑time disruption management Data Integration Strategy: Develop data integration patterns and workflows AI & Automation Implementation: Identify and design AI‑driven insights and automated workflows that leverage integrated data streams to improve disruption prediction, response and customer communication Service Blueprint Development: Create a comprehensive service blueprint that demonstrates how integrated data and technology capabilities will transform the customer experience Phased Roadmap Creation: Develop a practical implementation roadmap with clear milestones, technical dependencies, and resource requirements for delivery in phases Qualifications 10+ years' experience in technology and data architecture with hands‑on technical execution Proven expertise in transport system architecture and complex data ecosystem integration Deep knowledge of spatial / GIS systems (Esri) and asset‑management platforms (IBM Maximo or similar) Strong experience with workflow integration tools (FME or equivalent) Knowledge of BIM standards (Autodesk) and open data API design Cloud platform expertise (Azure, AWS, or GCP) with an understanding of cloud‑native architecture Experience with AI / ML platforms, predictive analytics, and event‑driven architectures Background in organisational or government change management Familiarity with Agile delivery and cross‑functional collaboration Understanding of transport operations and disruption management processes Additional Details Seniority Level : Mid‑Senior Employment Type : Contract Job Function : Information Technology, Engineering and Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Outsized by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
