About the Role You’ll carry out audits onsite, from client locations to working from home and our Brisbane office, with occasional travel to regional QLD. You’ll assess business systems for compliance with ISO standards (including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001)—working directly with senior management teams and frontline staff alike. We focus on continued training and support for all auditors. What You’ll Be Doing Conduct ISO certification audits and assessments for a diverse client base. Collaborate with client teams to identify opportunities for improvement. Partnering with Compass management, operations, and our clients, you’ll play a key role in driving real results and continuous improvement. Prepare professional, accurate audit reports and other deliverables. Enjoy a mix of client site visits and flexible work from home. About You Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this position. You’re a confident communicator who enjoys engaging with people at all levels—from senior execs to small operational teams. You’re self‑motivated, well‑organised, and able to work independently or as part of an audit team. You bring 3+ years’ auditing experience as a management representative for a certified system. You’re highly competent in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. You can write clear, concise, and insightful audit reports. You live in or near the greater Brisbane area and are able to attend client sites in person on a regular basis the Brisbane office in person for training and monthly meetings. Lead Auditor certification or equivalent is highly regarded. You are tertiary educated. Qualifications in Engineering, Business, Science, or Cert IV in WHS/Environmental Management are desirable. Most importantly, you enjoy helping people and take pride in sharing your knowledge. Australian work rights are required for this position. You must be available for occasional travel (approx. quarterly) to regional QLD locations.
