Basically, we love people and we love management systems The Role We are seeking a suitably experienced and qualified Food Safety or ISO Specialist and Trainer to join our growing team. The primary role of this position is to write up food safety and ISO programs, conduct Food Safety and ISO audits and deliver training to drive a deep understanding of HACCP, GFSI and ISO Standards. The role is based in Perth with some travel to other Australian states and New Zealand. Strong Engagement is key Key responsibilities Deliver training across a large range of food safety, HACCP, ISO, quality and ethical based topics and standards. Write up HACCP and GFSI programs. Write up ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 programs. Conduct state approved food safety and HACCP audits. Conduct food safety, GFSI and ISO internal audits. Deliver training in HACCP, Lead Auditor, ISO and Food Microbiology. Are you recognised for your ability to prepare and manage HACCP, GFSI or ISO audits? Do you love coaching people and sharing your technical knowledge? Are you good at speaking and explaining technical concepts? Are you good at driving engagement during projects or training? Requirements Drivers licence and own car – to visit our clients and their premises. Degree qualified in Biological or Food Science or similar science based discipline. Current TAE40122 – Training and Assessment (Preferred, but not essential). Demonstrated experience in preparation/management of HACCP or GFSI audits, including conducting internal audits. Ability to explain Food Safety or ISO standards. Strong understanding of Food Standards Code, especially FSC3.2.2 and 3.2.3. Highly developed written communication skills with the ability to maintain strong attention to detail. Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build client relationships. Ability to prioritise, organise and complete work within established deadlines, and maintain a consistent level of professionalism. Alignment with our values of Respect, Energy, Effort and Attitude. Food Safety vs OHS and Enviro Experience OHS and Environmental Professionals who have had experience managing and conducting internal audits for ISO certification are also encouraged to apply – we can train you up in Food Safety and HACCP and you will support our ISO offering.
