This is a highly visible position within the organisation, and the Head of Investment Solutions (IS) must be an organisational leader, one who will challenge others thinking and bring idea generation and innovation to further LGT Wealth Management's strategic goals. To adapt to the LGT Wealth Management's culture, the Head of IS, in addition to being strategic, must also be tactical, willing to get involved to get the job done. Responsibilities Working collaboratively alongside your colleagues in the LGT Wealth Management's Chief Investment Office, you will use your skills and experience to deliver a targeted investment service to our most highly valued, sophisticated and largest clients. You will assist in sourcing, structuring and delivering tailored investment opportunities that meet the specific needs of (and add value to) this client segment, in addition to the already best in market institutional quality 'approved product list' (APL) being managed by the broader IPS team. Work collaboratively with the Head of Capital Markets and Fixed Income to source successful opportunities for clients enrolled in the LGT Access investment program. Have a basic understanding of structuring and operational impacts of differing deals. Have a deep understanding of the evolving alternatives (unlisted) investments asset class, together with institutional and bespoke investment solutions across the broader asset class complex. Have a general understanding of, and assist our Investment Advisers in, asset allocation and portfolio construction for this and other segments of our clients. As a leader in the LGT CIO team, you will contribute to the team's asset allocation and investment views, across and within asset classes, while also contributing to the LGT Investment Committee debate and process. Possess a strong risk culture and work within the guidelines of the Capital Markets Committee and Investment Committee. Be responsible for the monitoring and reporting of delivered investment opportunities on the APL, in tandem with the broader IPS funds team. Be a strong communicator, presenter and able to conduct client meetings on a one-on-one basis and group basis. Conduct pitches with advisers for prospects and clients above certain AuM thresholds. Media liaison, including print and television medium. Contribute to the production of investment content for external and internal distribution. About You More than 15 years of relevant investment experience. Strategic senior investment leader that has a general understanding of global economics and capital markets. An investment leader with deep institutional asset class knowledge and investment management understanding, including asset allocation and portfolio construction. Be well-connected in the global and local financial industry, with a demonstrated pipeline of delivered bespoke investment opportunities.
