There is also the opportunity to teach at the UNE Medical School and / or work within the Local Hospital A&E if desired. The Faulkner Street Medical Practice consists of 8 general practitioners, and also offers Specialist services with onsite pathology. FSMP is AGPAL accredited and fully computerised. Armidale is located on the Great Dividing Range halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, a one hour flight from Sydney, or a 2 hour drive from the Pacific Beaches of the NSW North Coast. Not only does Armidale provide great health options there are also excellent Private and Public Schools, a well respected University, and a thriving sporting and artistic Community. With the New England Consevatorium of Music, Symphony and Youth Orchestras, New England Regional Art Museum and Aboriginal Cultural Centre and Keeping Place.
