Executive Officer to the Principal and Director of Finance & Operations Seton Catholic College is set on a leafy and attractive campus, only a few kilometres from the port city of Fremantle. Experienced and accomplished Executive Assistants are invited to apply for the position of Executive Officer to the Principal and Director of Finance & Operations. This pivotal role demands exceptional organisational and administrative skills with the ability to represent the Principal’s office with the utmost professionalism, discretion and alignment with the College’s values. The successful candidate will commence mid‑January 2026. The Executive Officer provides high‑level executive support that enables effective and student‑focused leadership, clear communication and professional documentation that reflect the values of Seton Catholic College. Key responsibilities include diary management for both the Principal & DFO, preparation of the College newsletter, College reports, coordination of meetings and accurate minute‑taking and the development of other documents as required. The Executive Officer is instrumental in developing and maintaining positive relationships across the College community, including external stakeholders. The successful applicant will demonstrate: Proven experience as an Executive Assistant to a Principal, representing the Principal’s office with professionalism, compassion and commitment to the College values Excellent communication and diplomacy skills, which foster positive relationships with staff, students, families and the wider College Community Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and with confidentiality Ability to analyse content of meetings and translate them into concise and accurate, high‑order minutes Experience in preparing professional reports High level proficiency in the use of the Microsoft suite Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and conflict resolution skills Exceptional time management skills and experience in managing calendars and prioritising a large workload Ability to work independently and as part of a team Exceptional decision‑making skills Support for the Catholic ethos of the College in the performance of duties Willingness to become an active member of the Seton Catholic College community with a strong commitment to promoting and supporting the varied aspects of College life A shared responsibility to ensure ongoing support for a child‑safe culture within the Catholic Education System Please visit Employment Vacancies (seton.wa.edu.au) to access the Position Description and application instructions.
