The team manages core NSW Government digital channels, including the nsw.gov.au website and NSW Government Facebook, ensuring an inclusive, consistent, high‑quality experience for citizens, businesses and public servants. The OneCX program maintains the nsw.gov.au site and supports the migration of agency websites to the platform. Benefits Flexible working arrangements and work/life balance Remote working opportunities Flexible start and finish times Flex days off in addition to normal annual leave entitlements About the role Reporting to the Senior Privacy Manager, you will operate in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment to support and facilitate the implementation of digital content across nsw.gov.au and other agency platforms. You will develop privacy impact assessments, respond to privacy breaches and advise stakeholders on privacy principles. About you Privacy, risk or information governance professional with experience applying privacy principles in complex, fast‑paced environments. Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset, confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels of government. Thrives in ambiguity, balancing privacy risks with delivery imperatives, and practical application of privacy legislation. Strong influence skills, guiding colleagues toward a broader privacy perspective. Growth mindset, customer and digitally obsessed, passionate about supporting teams to evolve. Your role will involve Providing expert privacy advice across digital projects and initiatives. Leading the development of Privacy Impact Assessments and Privacy Collection Notices. Supporting investigation, root‑cause analysis and remediation of privacy breaches. Contributing to privacy frameworks, policies and procedures. Building privacy awareness through training, coaching and guidance. Collaboration with legal, cyber security, information security and data governance teams. To be successful, you will have Experience delivering privacy/data protection risk management activities, including threshold/impact assessments. Experience managing and responding to privacy breaches. Working knowledge of Privacy‑by‑Design and NSW privacy legislation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing competing priorities. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and analytical skills. Proficiency with Office 365 suite. Positive, can‑do attitude working in a fast‑paced, agile environment. Certification in privacy or data protection (e.g. CIPM, CIPT). Experience in policy development, training or capability uplift initiatives. Agility with cross‑functional team environments. Background in risk management, governance, compliance or related fields.
