Opportunity We are seeking a talented and motivated Design Engineer/Draftsperson to lead our Design Team from our Toowoomba facility. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who wants to work on industry‑leading products while collaborating with cross‑functional teams across Australia and Thailand. You’ll play a key role in the full design lifecycle— from concept development through to manufacturing handover—ensuring that our designs are robust, practical, and production‑ready. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and support the design teams from Toowoomba. Collaborate with engineering and production teams in Australia and Thailand. Drive product development and innovation initiatives. Design and model new components and assemblies using SolidWorks. Produce 3D sketches, parametric models, and detailed production drawings. Revise and update existing models and assemblies. Contribute to R&D projects and prototype development. Conduct on‑site measurements and assist with product fitment validation. Liaise directly with clients to clarify design intent and ensure project success. About You You’re an experienced design professional who combines technical precision with practical problem‑solving and leadership capability. You’re equally comfortable working hands‑on with CAD models and guiding others toward project outcomes. Essential Skills and Experience Demonstrated design and drafting experience in a manufacturing environment. Background in agricultural equipment design (highly advantageous). SolidWorks proficiency is essential. Strong leadership, time management, and organisational skills. Excellent communication and cross‑cultural collaboration skills.
