About the Role As a Customer Field Technician located in Newcastle, you will play a vital role working on customer service field tasks across all nbn technologies. This is an autonomous role where you’ll be responsible for installation, repair, and maintenance of nbn products and services. Typical responsibilities include: Cabling installation (copper and fibre) including jointing, jumpering and splicing. Customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE). Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE. Working between 7 am and 7 pm with flexible working arrangements. About You We’re seeking both experienced candidates and those with transferable skills from a communication cabling or electrical background who are keen to explore a new career in the telco sector. Key attributes: Excellent customer‑service skills, honesty, and integrity. Self‑managed and motivated. Current, clean driver’s licence. Strong, personable written and verbal communication.
