As a member of the care team in the delivery of services to residents and their family members, you will be responsible for ensuring that the diverse pastoral and spiritual needs of residents, their families and staff are identified, prioritised and responded to in a timely manner. You will be part of an integrated team of people working within an established and agreed framework supporting the resident to live their best life. As the Pastoral Care Practitioner some of your main duties will include: Providing spiritual and emotional care support to residents, according to established triage priorities As required, providing spiritual care support to residents\' family members and to staff Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders While we are seeking an experienced Pastoral Care Practitioner, early career practitioners or those wishing to start their career in pastoral care are also encouraged to apply for a supervised practitioner role. Support to complete clinical pastoral care training is available for those applying as a supervised practitioner. About You You are a highly engaged professional Pastoral Care Practitioner or someone looking to make the transition to a career in Pastoral Care. You are the type of person who is seeking to uphold the dignity of people living in residential aged care and looking to make a meaningful contribution to their wellbeing.
