About The Role Help shape the provision of spiritual and pastoral care of residents, families and staff at Calvary, ensuring their diverse spiritual needs are identified and responded to with exceptional sensitivity, compassion, knowledge and skill. As a member of the care team, you will participate in the delivery of services to residents and their family members, ensuring that pastoral and spiritual needs are identified and responded to within an integrated team framework. Responsibilities Providing spiritual care support to residents according to triage priorities. Providing spiritual care support to residents’ family members and to staff as required. Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. About You You are a highly engaged professional practitioner, upholding the dignity of people living in residential aged care and seeking to make a meaningful contribution to their wellbeing. Qualifications A tertiary qualification in pastoral care, spiritual direction, counselling or similar. Clinical Pastoral Education and/or equivalent. Recent experience working in a similar role in aged care, health care or community care. Established skills in preparation, creation, leadership and facilitation of meaningful rituals.
