Accountant vacancy: Seventh-day Adventist Church, Tasmania Conference Limited. A full-time accountancy position exists to serve: Seventh-day Adventist Church (Tasmanian Conference) Ltd Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Tasmania) Ltd Tasmanian Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church The successful applicant will enjoy being a part of a dynamic and supportive office team as well as generous benefits. Duties Include Support the CFO Preparation and analysis of financial reports Assist with forecasting, cash flow management, data analysis Budget preparation Assist with the daily and monthly monitoring of all financial performance across the entities Accounting for the local churches Payroll Qualifications Demonstrate high level of computer literacy with advanced skills in accounting software Hold qualifications in accounting, finance or relevant discipline Be a practicing baptized member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with a strong commitment to its Mission Experience in church accounting would be an advantage Hold a valid Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People check/card Have a current Tasmanian Driver’s License and WWVP card Salary to be negotiated Salary Starting Salary: $80,411 plus Superannuation.
