Scholastic Australia is offering an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced designer to work on its Licensed Publishing team. This role involves creating fun, dynamic children’s activity books and storybooks under license from some of the world’s leading entertainment companies. Using iconic imagery from Disney, Universal, Warner Bros, Mattel and many, many more, this is a fast-paced position with a world of brands at your fingertips. The successful applicant will ideally have 2+ years in-house and/or freelance book, magazine, product or marketing design experience. You will have excellent design skills, be proficient with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products and have a sound knowledge of pre‑press and four‑colour printing. Excellent organisational and communication skills and an ability to work well in a team are required, and experience and enthusiasm in working with children’s books and properties will be very highly regarded. Appropriate tertiary-level qualifications are essential for this role.
