The company provides engineering support and quick response worldwide, ensuring efficient operations for clients. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fitter role based in Sydney, NSW. The Fitter will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment used in crushing and materials processing. Daily responsibilities include mechanical troubleshooting, conducting preventative maintenance, working with technical drawings and specifications, ensuring safety compliance, and liaising with other team members to ensure operational efficiency. This role demands a hands‑on approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards of machinery performance. Qualifications Proficient in mechanical fitting, installation, assembly, and maintenance of equipment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions Experience in troubleshooting and problem‑solving mechanical issues in large machinery Knowledge of safety protocols, workplace health regulations, and industrial tools Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience in mechanical fitting Previous experience in the mining or quarrying industry is advantageous Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Terex Jaques by 2x.
