Join our team as a Gardener / Groundskeeper at The Village Retirement Group Pty Ltd in Taigum, QLD. This full-time role is responsible for maintaining the beautiful landscaping and grounds across our retirement village community. If you have a passion for gardening and take pride in creating inviting outdoor spaces, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute your skills. What you’ll be doing Perform regular lawn mowing, edging, and general garden maintenance Plant, care for, and prune trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscaping elements Ensure gardens and grounds are kept clean, tidy, and free of weeds Operate and maintain gardening equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers Assist with minor landscaping projects as needed Assist with ad hoc projects as needed Contribute to a safe work environment by following all health and safety procedures What we’re looking for Previous experience as a gardener, groundskeeper, or in a similar role Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and landscaping techniques Ability to work as part of a team Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual gardening tasks Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work What we offer At The Village Retirement Group, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
