Position Details We're looking for a committed and enthusiastic Groundskeeper to join our Palm Lake Resort Upper Coomera team and help keep our resort grounds in pristine condition. This is a Casual Groundskeeper role, working up to 38 hours a week Monday - Friday on an as needed basis. This is hands‑on role, maintaining our gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas, ensuring they are safe, clean, and visually appealing. Your work will be essential to ensuring the resort grounds are presented to a high standard for our residents and visitors year‑round. Responsibilities Hedge & tree trimming Mowing, edging & whipper snipping Control weeds and pests through the application of herbicides Raking and blowing leaves, pruning and disposing of dying vegetation Planting, mulching, and maintaining flowers and shrubs, including watering and maintenance of irrigation systems Oversee the outdoor presentation of all facilities, including BBQ & pool maintenance Ensure all mechanical equipment and tools are kept in good working order What We’re Looking For: We are looking for someone who shares our values and belief that respect, passion, community, impact & safety underpins all the work we do. Relevant gardening experience in a similar role Qualification in Cert III Horticulture or equivalent is advantageous ACDC chemical licence is advantageous Ability to use equipment such as push mower, ride on mower, hedge trimmer, whipper snipper and blower Possess the physical ability to undertake the requirements of the role, including bending, lifting and carrying Initiative & the ability to work with limited supervision Why Join Us?
