Employment Type : Full Time – Permanent Opportunity to work from our many offices across Chatswood, Charlestown or St Leonards 38 hour working week, with flexible work from home options available Attractive salary, $137,173 – $163,431 per annum + Super About Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) The Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) program will provide a highly secure, holistic and integrated view of the care a patient receives across the New South Wales (NSW) public health system. It will transform the digital systems that NSW’s public healthcare workers use every day to deliver care. The SDPR is a next generation integrated electronic medical record (eMR), laboratory information management system (LIMS) and patient administration system (PAS). The program will replace the current nine eMRs, 10 PAS and five pathology LIMS in use across NSW Health. SDPR will be delivered across NSW Health through a partnership between Local Health Districts (LHDs), Specialty Health Networks (SHNs), eHealth NSW, NSW Health Pathology and other agencies. Come work with us We have an exciting opportunity in the Single Digital Patient Record program, Program Delivery for a Data and Reporting Lead. Reporting into the Solution Architecture and Technical Analysis Capability Manager, you will be playing a leading role in the clinical reporting and extract services. Working closely with key project stakeholders (including vendor teams) and engaging various team members, you will be responsible for setting up the reporting and business intelligence strategies that meet the needs of our customers and maximise the value of data coming from clinical systems. The role will provide leadership to the SDPR Reporting team. Please, note that there may be an expectation to visit the local project team site during high intensity periods such as testing and go live. Your role will sit amongst peers in the Solution Architecture and Technical Analysis team. In addition to working on some of NSW Health’s most transformative digital projects, you will also support the ongoing development of best practice methodologies, including contributing to the establishment of a centre of excellence for this discipline, for the benefit of eHealth NSW more broadly. Health Manager Level 4, commencing salary from $137,173 – $163,431 per annum plus 11% superannuation. What you will do As an integral member of the Solution Architecture and Technical Analysis team, you will : Provide leadership and direction to staff and effectively manage operational / project issues to ensure continuous effective service delivery and a performance based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer focused work culture. This will involve working with the wider project team, LHD and vendor resources to ensure problems are resolved quickly and effectively. Manage the output of the SDPR Reporting team including development and support of reports, extracts, dashboards, ETL, cubes, and analytics tools to ensure that services meet NSW Local Health Districts and NSW Ministry of Health needs and expectations for all SDPR implementations supported and hosted by eHealth NSW. Participate in the development and build of the SDPR application for use in the identified health jurisdictions. Lead the process to ensure a documented and implemented development methodology and program code library are an integral component of the information technology project to enable the best outcome for customers. Support and mentor staff and develop individualised work plans Provide advice to Management around key issues relating to the ongoing support and development of the SDPR Reporting function. Liaise with a broad range of users of the various systems to ensure specific requirements in relation to reports, extracts, dashboards, ETL, cubes, and analytics tools are clearly communicated to the team and / or vendors. About you The skills, knowledge and experience we are looking for in you are : Experience and a record of achievement in managing a data team to deliver contemporary reporting and data capabilities in a large and complex service environment, including relevant qualifications or equivalent. This includes extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience with Electronic Medical Record systems. Advanced skills in Clinical reporting / Analytics technologies including SQL or an SQL derivative and / or Clinical Informatics technologies in a large-scale environment or a large-scale data warehouse with reporting solutions. Demonstrated high level leadership and influential skills when liaising and negotiating with stakeholders to meet eHealth, project and team objectives and timeframes, while being responsive to emerging issues and priorities. Skills in gathering data requirements and writing technical specifications and the ability to read and understand data models. Substantial experience in report development and knowledge of relational database design and its impact upon performance Familiarity with types of data optimization issues and approaches to their resolution. Experience working in a collaborative team environment using source control tools. Ability to quickly analyse and understand complex information, business processes and concepts. Knowledge of large-scale data warehouse and reporting solutions : data warehouse integration projects using ETL tools or writing custom code; writing complex SQL queries; designing efficient DW data models; and building reports / dashboards using any enterprise reporting or visualisation tool. Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate.
