We are looking for our next amazing reception superstar to join our growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced medical receptionist to grow their own career path in a dynamic and exciting environment. Immediate Start About us We are an established privately owned and operated mixed billing practice centrally located in the northern suburbs of Butler. About the role Ensure the smooth day to day running of our busy front desk Process online claiming including Medicare reconciling and batching Patient billing and receipting ensuring complete accuracy as well as following up on outstanding payments and DNA fees Opening and closing the clinic (some 7.15am starts and 5.30pm finishes on weekdays and some Sunday mornings 8.30am - 12.30pm) Maintain a welcoming reception and waiting area Administrative duties such as scanning, filing and queries Selection Criteria A friendly and professional demeanor with a positive can do attitude Exceptional communication and customer service skills Prior Medical Receptionist experience (1-2 years essential for this role) Strong organisational and critical thinking skills with the ability to multitask and work to deadlines Possess an outstanding ability to think on your feet and solve problems Confidence to remain calm under pressure Solid MS Word, Excel and Outlook skills Knowledge of Best Practice (desirable) Flexibility with shifts and the ability to cover leave at short notice or as required and reliability (this is essential) This is a fulfilling role where you will get to contribute to our valued team while progressing your career through further practice development and training.
