It has over 800 employees with employees residing in the beautiful Mudgee area, with all the facilities for a fantastic family lifestyle.Job Tasks And ResponsibilitiesIn this exciting period of growth, a number of opportunities exist at Moolarben Coal Operations to join our Underground team as an Electrical Tradesperson. Reporting to the Shift Area Leader (Undermanager), your responsibilities will include:To supervise the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical plant and installations at the mine Monitor electrical equipment to ensure it remains in a fit for purpose and safe condition Operate machinery as part of a multi-skilled workforce Skills And ExperienceESSENTIALUnderground Coal Mining experience Have the appropriate qualifications under the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Regulation 2022 as qualified electrical tradesman A professional work ethic and the ability to strive for continuous improvement The ability to work effectively as part of a team Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills Experience with promoting a positive safety culture within the mine Sound planning, organisation and problem-solving skills DESIRABLEEEHA Training High Voltage Training BenefitsYancoal provides a range of benefits to appeal to the diverse needs of our employees.
