Site Services Supervisor

Tennant Consolidated Mining Group Pty Ltd (TCMG) is a gold resource company with an extensive exploration portfolio, including the Tennant Creek Goldfield. We are seeking an experienced full time Site Services Supervisor reporting directly to the General Manager, responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of infrastructure maintenance and services across the mine site and other company facilities. The role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a close-knit community in the heart of the Australian Outback based in Tennant Creek, Northern Territory and will be on a 15/13 roster. You will experience the challenges and rewards of working in a remote location while contributing to the exciting growth of the Barkly region. Local or Northern Territory Residents are strongly encouraged to apply; however other FIFO options can be considered. Responsibilities and Duties The Site Services Supervisor will oversee the maintenance and operation of non-process infrastructure such as new site preparation, infrastructure planning and execution, buildings, bores and associated pipework, water and wastewater systems, roads, utilities and other essential site services. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise infrastructure teams including trades (electrical, plumbing, mechanical), contractors, and service providers. Contractor Management including tender preparation, evaluation and execution. Management of Engineering contractors to ensure that site services meet the needs of the business. Plan and coordinate routine and preventative maintenance of non-process infrastructure as required. Engage, lead and manage contractors. Ensure all infrastructure services are delivered to required standards, maintaining reliability, compliance, and availability across the site. Manage maintenance schedules, allocate resources, and respond to infrastructure faults or breakdowns in a timely manner. Contribute to budgeting, cost control, and procurement of materials and services. Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, incidents, and compliance documentation. Support continuous improvement initiatives across infrastructure operations to improve service delivery, reduce downtime, and optimize asset life. Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to direct reports, fostering a positive and productive working environment. Qualifications Essential Experience in site services support including water, power and infrastructure. Experience managing contractors and ensuring quality work. Mentoring experience to be able to train and elevate junior personnel as required. Hands‑on experience in both open pit and underground mining environments is preferred. A current "C" class manual driver's license. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Desirable Previous experience in a remote work environment. Trade qualification. Experience in managing people and contractors. Mechanical and electrical aptitude and understanding.
