Mechanical Fitters – Fixed Plant Maintenance | 2:2 Roster | Tennant Creek NT Join a rapidly growing team supporting one of Australia’s newest and most innovative gold operations Aspect Engineering is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for our fixed plant maintenance crew at Tennant Creek, NT. Work across planned maintenance, shutdowns, and projects on a modern gold processing plant — with FIFO from major hubs or DIDO options available. The Role: Perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance across processing plant assets: crushers, feeders, conveyors, screens, chutes, bins, pumps, valves and associated infrastructure. Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and undertake repairs to minimize downtime. Carry out rebuilds and servicing on pumps, maintain piping/valves, and troubleshoot hydraulic and lubrication systems. Align shafts, replace couplings and bearings, and conduct other general mechanical repairs as required. Participate in safety programs performing JHAs, Take 5’s, and upholding WHS and site safety requirements. Handle administrative CMMS duties including work order management, maintenance record-keeping, and parts requisitioning. Support shutdowns, commissioning, and ongoing reliability improvement projects. About You: Australian Recognised or NZ Mechanical Fitter Trade. Experience maintaining fixed plant in mining or heavy industry (gold plant experience desirable). Working at Heights & Confined Space tickets. Strong safety focus and ability to follow strict site procedures. Ability to pass pre-employment medical and ongoing drug & alcohol screens. Police clearance. High risk licences (Rigging, Dogging, Crane, EWP, Forklift). Current mining inductions, polywelding, HR or scaffolding certs. What’s On Offer: Lifestyle 2:2 roster – FIFO, DIDO, or live local.
