About The Role The Family Support Coordinator (FSC) plays a vital role in helping children and families transition into school successfully. This position involves working closely with teachers, support staff, and external partners to address barriers to learning and improve student outcomes. Key Responsibilities Collaborating with external partners to drive positive outcomes for families and children. Connecting families with services to support health, development, and learning engagement. Building and sustaining effective partnerships with students, parents, school staff, and community services. Providing expert input to address the needs of vulnerable children and families. Using data to assess and improve school attendance, engagement, and academic success. About You The following traits would be beneficial Experience working with vulnerable children and families from diverse backgrounds. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills. Knowledge of community services and government support programmes. Ability to use data to inform decision‑making and measure outcomes. Understanding of early childhood development and education transitions.
