About The Role As the Family Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting children and families to transition into school, establish positive attendance and behaviour patterns, and access external services to reduce barriers to learning. Key Responsibilities Include Collaborating with external partners to drive positive outcomes for families and children. Working with school staff to understand students' needs and connect families with relevant services. Building and sustaining positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and community services. Facilitating access to specialist interventions and supporting engagement with the NDIS. Using data to assess the effectiveness of support measures and improve student outcomes. This role would suit someone passionate about supporting children and families, with a focus on improving student engagement and success. About You Experience working with vulnerable children and families from diverse backgrounds. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with students, families, and stakeholders. Knowledge of early childhood services and transition processes into primary education. Ability to identify and connect families with appropriate government and non-government services. Proficiency in using data to inform decision-making and measure outcomes. Mandatory Requirements Possess a current Working with Children Check clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services. Possess a current driver's licence. Be available to work some after‑hours as required. Be willing and able to travel as required.
