Gardener and Maintenance Person

Brickworks VIC are seeking an experienced and passionate Gardener & General Maintenance person to join our Austral Bricks plant in Wollert VIC. Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the parks and gardens within the Wollert Site, as well as overseeing the overall upkeep of office amenities and buildings. Duties include: Maintain parks & gardens: mowing, planting, watering, pruning, and general housekeeping General maintenance of offices and buildings: painting, basic repairs, and cleanliness Conduct routine inspections of facilities, identifying and addressing any repairs or maintenance needs promptly. Assist with maintaining the Sales Centre yard when required Support the Brick Cutter role when required Undertake additional duties during staff leave or as directed Ensure all tasks are performed safely and in line with WHS policies Success Requirements: Proven experience in gardening and landscaping, with a strong understanding of horticulture and landscaping practices Knowledge of office maintenance, including the ability to handle basic repairs and maintenance tasks Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently Strong ability to work unsupervised and meet targets Proven commitment to safety in line with WHS policies Strong teamwork and communication skills Flexibility to support other roles and tasks as needed A Forklift Licence is preferred Why join us?
