Posted Monday 24 November As a passionate people person, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day upkeep of our gardens and building fixtures within the Mingarra community. Working closely with the Community Manager and residents, you will ensure our gardens, grounds, building and fixtures are well maintained, presentable and safe for all to enjoy. The ideal candidate is friendly, approachable to residents, works autonomously and is the "Jack of all Trades" when it comes to maintenance, gardening and repair. This opportunity is permanent part‑time working Wednesday to Friday (8 : 30 am – 4 : 30 pm). Your Impact Respond to maintenance requests to ensure a safe, clean and pleasant environment for residents, visitors and staff. Maintain village facilities including the pool/spa, common areas and activity rooms. Upkeep of walkways and paths, remove hazards, and manage waste, bins and recycling. Complete seasonal tasks such as pressure washing, glass cleaning, BBQ servicing and vehicle checks. Operate and maintain tools and equipment (some provided). Follow all WHS procedures and compliance requirements. Build strong relationships with residents and support a well‑maintained community. Coordinate with contractors and suppliers as needed. Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and ad‑hoc tasks as directed by Community Leaders. What you'll bring A warm & caring personality with an interest to make a difference every day. Experience in general maintenance roles or possess handy domestic repair skills (highly desired). Experience in gardening duties (highly desired). Current Police Check certificate (required; if you do not possess one, we can complete for you). Valid driver's licence (required).
