Head of Lending As the Head of Lending you will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of BNK’s lending portfolio. You will be responsible for driving prudent credit growth, operational excellence and high-quality lending decisions. You will provide senior oversight across residential, commercial and specialist portfolios and will ensure that BNK maintains a strong credit culture, efficient lending operations and compliance with APRA and ASIC standards. What you will bring Minimum of 10 years’ experience in banking or financial services with senior leadership experience in product management. Proven experience holding a Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) of $5M with demonstrated track record of sound lending decisions. Strong attention to detail with superior written, report presentation and verbal communication. Ability to develop strong and collaborative relationships. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Credit and Loan Application department across Australia and the Philippines. Drive the execution of end-to-end process improvements across lending operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and robust risk management. Manage key third-party vendors supporting the loan origination process and oversee their performance, contractual obligations and risk controls to ensure adherence to CPS 230 third‑party risk management standards. Hold an approved Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) up to $5,000,000, enabling independent assessment and approval of complex and high‑value credit applications. Exercise strong commercial judgment and disciplined credit decision‑making consistent with BNK’s Credit Policy, Risk Appetite Statement, and APRA/ASIC regulatory expectations. Take ownership of all customer complaints relating to Lending Origination, ensuring fair and timely resolution in line with ASIC RG 271 – Internal Dispute Resolution. Act as the primary escalation point for unresolved complaints within Lending.
