About the Role We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Casual Warehouse Operator to join our logistics team in Port Melbourne. In this active, hands‑on role, you’ll help keep our freight operations running safely and efficiently by collecting and returning tie‑down equipment, assisting with wrapping freight, sorting paperwork, and maintaining a clean, organised site. You’ll work as part of a supportive team that values safety, teamwork, and doing things right the first time. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Collect, check and sort tie‑down equipment and packaging for return to depots Complete and sort paperwork daily as directed Inspect, maintain and report faulty or broken equipment Assist with freight wrapping and preparation Maintain site cleanliness through sweeping, rubbish removal and general housekeeping Follow all health, safety and site procedures About You You’re someone who takes pride in a job well done and enjoys being part of a team that gets things done safely and efficiently. You bring a positive, can‑do attitude and aren’t afraid of hands‑on, physical work. You’ll also have: Reliability, punctuality and strong attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills The ability to follow instructions and procedures with care Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Excel) Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks A current and valid forklift licence – or the willingness to obtain one (highly-regarded) An inclusive workplace, works for everyone We celebrate difference.
