About the Role We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join us on a flexible part-time basis, ideally 2‑3 days per week. You’ll play a key role in shaping our estimating capability from the ground up, developing internal processes while supporting competitive bids across our expanding energy infrastructure portfolio. This is a perfect opportunity for: A seasoned estimator seeking reduced hours, Someone currently working part-time wanting to take on extra meaningful work In the role you will: Develop and maintain pricing systems, templates, and unit rate databases Deliver accurate cost estimates – Concept through to competitive tender inputs. Work closely with engineering and commercial teams on bid strategy and pricing structures. Analyse drawings, specifications, supplier quotes and risk allowances. Contribute to lessons learned to improve future bid competitiveness. Provide clear commercial insights around margins, procurement assumptions and value optimisation. About You Estimating experience in energy, utilities or infrastructure environments. Knowledge across civil, mechanical and electrical construction scopes is essential. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of EPC / EPCM project delivery. Proficiency in estimating tools and Excel cost modelling. Ability to operate autonomously and build processes from scratch. Background in BESS, gas turbines, solar or grid connection projects are desirable.
