SEND Teaching Assistants – Full-time or Part-time, starting as soon as possible We are seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with special educational needs across a variety of primary and secondary school settings in Camden and the surrounding areas. Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant: Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs Assist teachers in delivering inclusive lessons and adapting resources Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development Implement individual education plans (IEPs) under guidance from teaching staff Promote a safe and positive learning environment for all learners Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant: Previous experience supporting children with SEND in an educational setting Strong understanding of strategies for supporting pupils with additional needs Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one Why Step Teachers?
