Young Engineers Educator/Coordinator

Build your leadership, facilitation & communication skills while delivering awesome STEM programs to students in primary & secondary schools. Through our Young Engineers programs on the Gold Coast, we aim to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child, equipping them with essential STEM skills to thrive in a future shaped by technology, innovation, and change. Our vision is a community where every primary-aged child feels empowered to dream big, solve real-world problems, and lead with imagination. About The Environment: Grade: Year 1 - Year 6 After-School Classes - run throughout the school term every week from 3 pm to 5 pm Incursion Classes - run during school hours (hours can vary) School Holiday Programs - run during the school holidays All training, uniform, lesson plans and specially designed Lego kids are provided The successful applicant(s) will have the following attributes: Passionate about inspiring children to be their best Willing to tackle problems to make the world a better place Confident public speaker (e.g. debate team experience) Customer Service experience (be able to think on your feet) Organised and punctual A Working With Children Check (or the ability to obtain one) Drivers licence & own car Ability to perform light manual tasks, including setting up the venue, carrying the Lego kids and cleaning up afterwards Completed Year 12 Prefer but not necessary: Degree/Diploma or studying towards one in Science, Engineering, ICT, Education, Education Assistance or Child Care Hours per week: 5 - 10 What We Provide: Inspiration and Development We aim to inspire you in the same way we ask all educators to inspire our students.
