What we're looking for Susquehanna International Group is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Post Trade Technology team, who are responsible for processing and storing all accounting related activity across the APAC region. This part of the team builds applications used to automate many of the accounting processes, and provides robust Financial Systems, that comply with all finance, regulatory, accounting requirements across our various APAC regional locations. The successful candidate should have 5+ years of experience in software development (Oracle and C#) An excellent understanding of Database design allied with a knowledge of Object-oriented programming A proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing client/server applications using C# and Oracle, being equally adept in either one Experience taking projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release Experience collaborating closely with core development/engineering teams to provide data and services to the business Interest in the challenges of Accounting Software architecture and desig Clear understanding of architectural concepts and the fundamentals of good software design Solid grasp of design patterns and principles, particularly as they apply to Object Oriented Design (OOD) Experience with software testing strategies and approaches Broad experience across various languages, technologies, and platforms and ability to adapt Demonstrated skills in diagnosing and solving technical and business problems Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with both technical and non-technical teams Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline. #J-18808-Ljbffr
