Overview Join to apply for the EL1 Senior Project Officer, MedicineInsight role at Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care . Base pay range : A$120,829.00/yr – A$137,808.00/yr This role supports the Measurement for Improvement (MFI) program, which handles projects to share safety and quality data with consumers, clinicians, administrators and funders. MedicineInsight is a quality improvement program using data from Australian general practices to support best practice and post-market surveillance of medicines. It enables general practitioners to reflect on prescribing patterns and patient care, review practice results, and receive customised quality improvement recommendations. Responsibilities Lead local quality improvement activities and national quality use of medicine priorities for primary care, including the development of reports to meet mandatory obligations. Develop and facilitate continuing professional development (CPD) activities for general practitioners and collaborate with colleges and professional bodies to align MedicineInsight with CPD requirements. Conduct research and analysis of information, manage projects, coordinate stakeholders, facilitate meetings, and prepare project documentation. Collaborate with other Commission programs to align MedicineInsight reports with strategic priorities. Engage with the general practice community, Colleges, peak bodies and research institutions to promote MedicineInsight and its impact. Consult with experts and stakeholders, coordinate formal consultation processes, and build productive relationships with agencies, clinical organisations, consumer groups, government authorities, industry bodies and contractors. Present at committees, forums and workshops on relevant topics and undertake other duties as required. Qualifications and experience Excellent project management experience relevant to safety and quality in the primary health care setting. Demonstrated high-level research and analytical skills, with ability to translate data into clinical improvement actions in primary care. Excellent writing skills for diverse audiences and formats. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with strong stakeholder consultation and negotiation abilities. Strong knowledge and understanding of safety and quality issues relevant to the MedicineInsight program. Details Hybrid work model (office-based in Sydney and work from home where operationally feasible). A regular weekly presence in the office is required.
