The Role We are currently looking for experienced and passionate Domestic Assistants across Pingelly and surrounding areas. We have casual roles available. Our busiest period of care delivery is between Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8am – 3pm. If you are available for this time period then we would love to hear from you Our Domestic Assistants support clients to undertake domestic tasks in the home such that the care/support plan is followed and participation in their care is encouraged, where possible. Responsibilities include a range of domestic tasks such as making their beds, ironing, laundry, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping the floor, with some social support in the community. Domestic Assistants will follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home; therefore having unrestricted access to a vehicle and the ability to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously, via a mobile app, will be essential. Servicing the following suburbs: Beverley, Aldersyde, Brookton, Jericho, East Pingelly, Bulyee, Pingelly, West Pingelly, Popanyinning, West Popanyinning, Commodine (Only successful applicants residing in the above suburbs will be contacted) About you A valid Driver’s Licence with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential. Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
