About the role We currently have Day shift driving positions available for safety-conscious professional drivers to complete local and country deliveries in our well-maintained Scania automatics. The role suits drivers interested in upskilling their existing experience into the chemical space, delivering class 8 dangerous goods products in road tankers. Our depot has a comprehensive fleet of HR, HC and BDBL rated equipment. You will be provided with a comprehensive and competency-based training program spanning 4 plus weeks. You will be trained to safely perform a range of tasks including and not limited to load and unload various liquid DG and non-DG products and delivering to customer sites. Great scope of weekend work with plenty of hours (50+ hours each week). Responsibilities Load and unload various liquid DG and non-DG products Deliver to customer sites Operate and drive Scania automatics within safety guidelines Qualifications Minimum HC licence with at least 1 year of proven heavy vehicle driving experience Previous experience operating bulk tankers Dangerous Goods licence Basic Fatigue Management accreditation, or willingness to obtain Forklift license beneficial but not essential A strong commitment to safety regulations Good driving history Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively Must be available for ad-hoc weekend work Novated car lease option Uniform Provided Employee assistance program including financial wellness support Growth and development to support career progression Background checks for all new employees to support a safe workplace ASX listed market leader | More than 75 years of service We foster a warm, supportive culture grounded in our values: Safety, Customer Service, People and Community, and Innovation.
