About our school Holy Spirit College is a Catholic co‑educational secondary school located in the rapidly developing suburb of Fitzgibbon in North Brisbane, approximately 15 km from Brisbane CBD. The College opened in January 2022 with 96 Year 7 students and will increase by one year level annually until we reach Year 12. The College is master‑planned for 1,080 students. This role will provide vital support to the Design Technologies curriculum area, with a focus on Food Technology. In this position you will be responsible for: Assisting with the planning, preparation and delivery of effective learning and teaching programs for students, including the use of technology and learning support activities. Monitoring the progress of students and identifying learning areas to provide evidence‑based intervention strategies. Improving student learning outcomes by providing support and advice on supporting students with diverse learning needs. Collaborating with school specialists in organising and assisting with intervention groups to coordinate services. Documenting observation notes, intervention programmes and assisting in the collation and preparation of classroom materials. About you To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including: Strong skills in planning, preparing, and delivering effective teaching programs. Ability to monitor student progress and apply evidence‑based interventions. Expertise in supporting diverse learning needs to improve student outcomes. Collaborative skills to work with specialists and coordinate intervention groups. Proficient in documenting observations, managing intervention programmes, and preparing classroom materials. Certificate III in Education Support. For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
