What You Will Bring To The Role Tertiary qualifications, professional registration/membership and significant clinical experience as follows: i) Occupational Therapy: minimum Bachelor Degree and general registration with AHPRA; with clinical experience in a Drug and Alcohol treatment setting or ii) Social Work: minimum Bachelor Degree and eligibility for membership of AASW; with clinical experience in a Drug and Alcohol treatment setting or iii) Counselling qualification with ACA L3-4 registration (Australian Counselling Association) or PACFA Clinical Registrant status (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia) or iv) Generalist Psychologist - a four year degree in psychology, being a three year degree with a fourth year honours in psychology; or who has qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer, and has full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia with clinical experience in a Drug and Alcohol treatment setting. Demonstrated ability to effectively build relationships with all stakeholders, plan and organise, provide clinical reasoning skills. Demonstrated ability to provide evidence-based drug & alcohol psychosocial: assessment, individual/ group interventions, case management and referral services in a public health setting. Evidence of an advanced level of effective communication skills and computer literacy. Demonstrated ability to assess, identify, manage and upscale clinical and operational risk within a drug and alcohol treatment setting. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team and detailed knowledge of evidence based clinical handover processes. Demonstrated commitment to working and partnering with Aboriginal patients, families and communities as well as improving the health outcomes for socially disadvantaged groups of patients within the local community. Current driver's license and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
