Procurement Manager – Food ManufacturingA premium food manufacturer known for its artisan-quality products is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead its sourcing and supply chain function. With a strong retail presence and two state-of-the-art production facilities, this business services customers across Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.About the CompanyWith nearly three decades of local heritage and French-inspired roots, this privately owned food business has earned a reputation for excellence in both retail and wholesale channels. Operating multi owned stores and supplying a growing network of customers, the company continues to invest in innovation, quality, and sustainability—balancing tradition with modernity as it scales across the region.About the RoleReporting to the CFO, you’ll take full ownership of end-to-end procurement operations including sourcing, negotiating supplier agreements, managing ESG requirements, and ensuring supply continuity across production facilities and retail sites. You'll manage aspend across diverse portfolio, including imported raw materials and consumables. In addition to leading the procurement strategy, you’ll also mentor a small team and champion best practice across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead supplier negotiations and manage all supplier contracts Review and enhance procurement policies and procedures Manage ESG and modern slavery reporting requirements Coordinate all import activities including freight, cost calculations, and invoice management Maintain optimal stock levels aligned to production forecasts Identify opportunities for cost savings and supply chain improvements Support NPD sourcing requirements and item setup in ERP Lead and mentor a team of two, fostering capability and cross-functional collaboration About YouMinimum 5 years’ experience in procurement, ideally within food manufacturing or FMCG Proven success managing international supply chains and freight forwarders Adept at supplier negotiations, sourcing, and contract management Strong knowledge of ERP systems ideally SAP, purchasing processes, and Excel Commercially savvy with strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Degree qualified in Business, Procurement, or related discipline Why Apply?Join a business with strong foundations, clear values, and a growth mindset Take ownership of procurement strategy in a hands-on, senior role Collaborate closely with executive leadership in a high-quality production environment If you're looking for a hands-on leadership role in a high-growth food business with end-to-end procurement ownership, we’d love to hear from you.
