Moriah College is a co‑educational Early Learning to Year 12 Jewish day school, based in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. We are seeking an experienced and passionate full‑time Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic team and commence early January 2026. Discounted school fees (where applicable). Key Duties & Responsibilities Nurture authentic connections with our children and families through building strong trusted relationships. Develop and / or assist the Room Leader with delivery of education programs that support children’s independence, resilience, and social and emotional wellbeing. Prepare (where applicable), implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for individual children and groups. Document children’s learning through observations and assessments in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Experience and Qualifications Required ACECQA approved qualification; Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or equivalent. Working knowledge of the National Quality Framework including: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Nesa accreditation. Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents and colleagues. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Ability to stay calm in challenging situations. Current first aid qualifications including asthma, anaphylaxis and CPR. Current Child Protection training completed within the last 2 years. A valid Working with Children Check. A working knowledge of Jewish Studies and Hebrew essential. Moriah College provides a dynamic working environment where staff are valued, and students are committed to learning.
