About Our School Good Samaritan Catholic College, located in Bli Bli on the Sunshine Coast, is a Prep to Year 12 institution that opened in 2019. The College has steadily grown and now accommodates approximately 1300 students. The first cohort of seniors graduated in 2024. Summary Support teachers in delivering powerful strategies that supercharge student learning and success in every subject Location: Good Samaritan Catholic College - Bli Bli (S) Start date: 27/01/2026 Work hours: 19.50 hours per week Salary: $ /hr + super (School Salary Scale) Status: Term Time Continuing Ad close date: 14/12/25 Contact: About The Opportunity In this position you will be responsible for: Assisting with the planning, preparation, and delivery of effective learning and teaching programs for students including the use of technology and learning support activities Monitoring the progress of students and identifying learning areas to provide evidence‑based intervention strategies Improving student learning outcomes by providing support and advice on supporting students with diverse learning needs Collaborating with school specialists in organising and assisting with intervention groups to coordinate services Documenting observation notes, intervention programs, and assisting in the collation and preparation of classroom materials. About You To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including: Strong skills in planning, preparing, and delivering effective teaching programs Ability to monitor student progress and apply evidence‑based interventions Expertise in supporting diverse learning needs to improve student outcomes Collaborative skills to work with specialists and coordinate intervention groups Proficient in documenting observations, managing intervention programs, and preparing classroom materials Certificate III in Education Support For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
