As we continue to strengthen our People, Talent and Culture function, we’re seeking an experienced Organisational Development Consultant to join our Workforce Capability team. About the Role As a professional in the organisation development space, you will join our Sydney team of around 40 professionals, based in our CBD office – just a 2‑minute stroll from the Sydney Metro Gadigal Station and well‑connected by multiple transport options. Reporting to the Workforce Capability Lead, this role plays a key part in developing capability across the organisation (with a particular focus on the east coast region). You will work closely with leaders and teams to understand workforce needs, analyse data, design and facilitate workshops, and provide practical, evidence‑based advice that helps build a high‑performing and engaged workforce. This is a hands‑on, people‑focused role suited to someone who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, applying organisational psychology and adult learning principles, and shaping meaningful development experiences that deliver lasting impact. What You’ll Be Doing Analysing workforce data (including staff and client surveys) and translating insights into practical actions. Planning and facilitating workshops (both in‑person and virtual) from scoping outcomes to delivering engaging sessions. Building strong, trusted relationships across the business and providing clear, practical guidance. Supporting the design, delivery and evaluation of graduate, leadership and development programmes. Producing high‑quality deliverables including reports, presentations and workshop materials. Identifying opportunities to enhance existing programmes based on feedback and evidence. Bringing current research and principles of adult learning, capability development and organisational psychology into our work. Contributing to initiatives that strengthen collaboration, cohesion and performance across Tonkin. About You You’ll be someone who brings curiosity, initiative and strong analytical capability – paired with an ability to build rapport and work with people at all levels. You enjoy solving problems, facilitating discussions and designing experiences that help people grow. We’re looking for someone with: A tertiary qualification in psychology, human resources, organisational development or similar. 5–10 years’ experience in an organisational development, learning and development, or similar role. Experience in data analytics, including content analysis and inferential statistics. A track record of building trusted stakeholder relationships and providing sound, practical advice. Demonstrated experience delivering workshops and development programmes end‑to‑end. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, high‑quality materials.
