Join to apply for the Organisational Development Consultant role at Public Sector People Public Sector People is working with Logan City Council , who are seeking an experienced Organisational Development Consultant on a temp contract to help deliver strategic people outcomes to Council through the design, development, implementation and evaluation of people projects and initiatives. Overview Pay: $70 per hour + 12% super Location: South Brisbane - Logan Client: Logan city council Start date: ASAP Contract length: 6-month contract with extension Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday – WFH The role Design and deliver strategic organisational development initiatives including leadership development, culture programs, workforce planning, performance frameworks, and capability-building activities for leaders and teams. Lead project and change management for major people initiatives managing end-to-end project delivery, developing communication and engagement plans, and ensuring successful adoption of new ways of working across Council. Engage, advise and influence stakeholders at all levels consulting with leaders, HR partners, and external providers to understand needs, provide expert OD advice, and build change readiness while maintaining strong communication and collaboration. About you Available to start immediately. High-level interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, consult and influence stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication, with a flair for clear and concise advice. A positive, proactive mindset and a genuine commitment to employee wellbeing. Familiarity with change, public sector frameworks and modern workplace practices. This role is moving fast – the client is keen to conduct interviews early next week.
