State Super operates to invest, support and administer defined benefit superannuation schemes with total assets of approximately $37 billion, on behalf of the NSW Government and associated employers. We now have an exciting career opportunity for a suitably qualified Senior Manager, Investment Partnerships to join one of Australia's largest and oldest superannuation funds. Reporting to the Chief Investment Strategy Officer, you will provide management and oversight of high quality services by our key outsourced investment providers. Your role will include: Negotiating and monitoring investment performance and service delivery to ensure that it is in line with legal and contractual obligations and recommend remedial action as required. A focus on strategic and operational planning, risk governance and evaluation of service delivery performance. Working with external investment services providers to ensure that their strategies align with the ongoing requirements of our investment strategy for each asset pool / investment option. Provide expert advice on investment partner management issues. To succeed in this role, you will have Extensive knowledge of Australian and International investment markets. Demonstrated commercial contract management experience. Significant experience in superannuation or financial services. Permanent resident or Australian citizen and willing to undergo a criminal background check. Previous experience in asset management / consulting and defined benefit superannuation advice will be highly regarded.
