Moolap, Laverton, Spotswood and Brooklyn Locations Rates will vary depending on the Driver position MR Driver (Manual) - Moolap Location Duties: Conduct pre‑start checks on the vehicle and report any issues to the manager Pick up and load the MANUAL MR TRUCK before each event at the Moolap warehouse Loading and unloading the hired goods from trucks Assist with set‑up of event hire goods such as marquees, tents, chairs, lounges, tables and large décor items Assist with the reset of furniture pieces and tents where necessary and pack down of event hire goods Cleaning and sanitising of hired goods once they have been returned to the warehouse Duties: Safely operating a Multi Combination (MC) container truck to complete local deliveries Adhering to all road rules and regulations to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of cargo. Performing basic pre‑start vehicle checks and report maintenance issues Providing exceptional customer service by delivering items in a timely and professional manner Restraining loads prior to leaving the depot or customer sites Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle Completing all necessary paperwork and documentation related to deliveries Reporting any issues or concerns to the relevant supervisors Responsible for accurate logbook keeping Ensure safe operation of the truck and comply with road and workplace safety standards HC Driver - Laverton and Spotswood Locations Duties: Safely operating a Heavy Combination (HC) vehicle to transport palletised empty glass bottles and jars to customers within the local area Adhering to all road rules and regulations to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of cargo Providing exceptional customer service by delivering items in a timely and professional manner Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle Completing all necessary paperwork and documentation related to deliveries Reporting any issues or concerns to the relevant supervisors Responsible for accurate logbook keeping Ensure safe operation of the truck and comply with road and workplace safety standards Perform basic pre‑start vehicle checks and report maintenance issues Please note most vehicles are Tautliners and side curtain trailers. To be successful in this role, applicants must have: Valid MR / HC or MC Licence Minimum 12‑18 months of experience in truck driving Strong awareness of safety and fatigue management Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Positive attitude with the desire and ability to learn Proof of a stable, reliable work history with minimal to no days off Immediate and full availability to work Clean VicRoads and police record (must be able to provide evidence) Able to pass a drug and alcohol test as well as random onsite testing Apply now and include a cover letter outlining which role you would be interested in.
