Production Worker/Forklift Operator

About us Agribrands owns and operates a mill situated in Campbellfield, Victoria. Agribrands and its subsidiary companies specialise in manufacturing produce for the Bird, Poultry and Small Animal categories. Product quality, consistency, safety and reliable service are imperative to our Business. About the role Casual hours between Monday – Thursday 6am – 2:30pm, Friday - 6am - 12:30pm. Location - Campbellfield (located close to the Hume highway and the Ring Road providing convenient access). Onsite parking. Start as soon as possible. Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents. We are looking for a production worker to operate machines and perform routine tasks to mix, mill and treat grains and by-productions, to make animal feed while ensuring our quality standards are met. Key responsibilities Inspecting materials to ensure they meet quality standards before beginning production processes. Filling, sealing, labelling, printing, packing, palletising of finished product. Ability to perform moderate lifting up to 15kg. Assistance with cleaning and housekeeping. Assistance with stocktake as required. Reporting production issues and malfunctions to Production Manager. Operating forklift to load and unload trucks. Picking and packing orders. Assistance with any other task that is reasonably required to produce and load finished product. Adherence to Workplace Health and Safety policy and practices. Key skills & experience needed for the role Forklift licence is a requirement of this role. Previous experience in manufacturing is beneficial, but not critical. Dependable. Time management. Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to operate production line equipment.
