Business Development Director Apex Group Ltd is a global fund administration and middle office solutions provider founded in Bermuda, with over 13,000 employees in 112 offices worldwide. We are looking for a Director to drive new business in Australia, increase revenue for our Fund and Financial Solutions services, and enhance our profile in the region. Location Sydney / Melbourne Job Responsibilities Drive new client acquisitions and increase revenue in Australia and globally. Achieve business targets by implementing new business development initiatives. Grow business brand and reputation across the region. Develop and manage a strong network of clients and intermediaries. Build, manage and progress a pipeline of new business opportunities. Collaborate with colleagues globally to achieve business objectives. Lead sales process from end to end, including management of deal teams. Ensure robust knowledge of Apex's offering and value proposition. Champion cross-sell initiatives across service lines and geographies to drive new sales into our existing client base. Work closely with sales, marketing, client onboarding, operations and other functions. Advise on strategic initiatives such as product development. Act as key relationship manager to ensure clients' needs are understood and communicated through the organization. Coach, develop and motivate sales and support professionals to drive sales performance and achieve sales goals. Follow internal sales and non-sales process and compliance requirements, including reporting, CRM maintenance, attendance at internal meetings and delivery of project deliverables. Skills Required 8+ years' relevant experience in financial solutions. 8+ years' business development experience in Australia. Experience in client services or relationship management function. Existing network of third-party influencers and business contacts preferred. Knowledge of financial markets, including local and offshore funds markets. Strong self-confidence, strategic mind to lead and/or contribute to discussions with stakeholders at various seniority levels. Demonstrated sales skills and ability to deliver on targets. Proven experience working with senior figures in developing client relationships. Strong verbal and written skills essential. Experience with CRM systems and internal stakeholders. Strong work ethic, uncompromising integrity. Educated to degree level; relevant professional qualifications beneficial.
