Your Team You’ll join a Test, Environment & Release Practice team, that encompasses testing for Hollard Business, Agency Partners and Software Vendors. The team is responsible for the testing of processes and systems to support Agency Partners manage their Insurance portfolios across the Quote, Policy and Claims functions. Your Role As a Quality Lead to deliver the testing and quality assurance elements of a fast‑paced Digital workstream. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that Hollard’s testing processes, standards and communications meet quality, reliability, and performance standards by designing quality systems, conducting tests, analysing data/metrics, and identifying areas for improvement. As an Engineering Quality Lead, you will be instrumental in migrating the current testing approach from one of reactive, manual‑based activities to one of a more proactive and automation based. You will provide leadership on this journey to your colleagues – permanents, consultants, contractors, onshore and offshore, working as one of the leaders in Hollard’s quality assurance area. Your duties and responsibilities Works to prevent quality issues from occurring rather than just finding them after they happen – exposure to resilience and availability processes to help identify areas that quality can address Collects and analyses metrics/data from the development and test processes to provide insights and recommendations for improvements Develops strategies and implements solutions to enhance product quality across the entire lifecycle, not just during the testing phase Integrates quality practices into development, working with developers to build quality into the software from the start Must be able to select appropriate automation tools and scripting languages based on project needs and provide technical leadership to the automation team Your knowledge & experience Demonstrated experience automated and manual testing including exploratory, system, integration, end‑to‑end & user acceptance testing Experience with the full software development life cycle Experience with Automated test tools, including designing, developing and maintaining robust automated test frameworks, like Selenium, UI Path, Cypress, Playwright etc Must have experience in leading testing in an Agile or Waterfall project, as and when required, depending on project demands and priorities including defining test cases, executing complex scenarios and manage the defect lifecycle Proven ability to rapidly identify, document, and elevate quality gaps, process inefficiencies, or potential risks in the development lifecycle to stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and defect prevention Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services is highly desirable Working at Hollard At Hollard, you’ll discover an environment where you can truly make an impact.
