Workshop Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Coordinator to join Frank Spice Autos , located in Forbes, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our workshop, ensuring the timely completion of all vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks. What you’ll be doing Coordinate and schedule all workshop activities, allocating work orders to mechanics based on their skills and availability Monitor the progress of all jobs and communicate regularly with customers to provide updates on the status of their vehicles Ensure that all workshop equipment and tools are well‑maintained and in good working order Liaise with Frank Spice parts team to ensure the timely delivery of necessary components Oversee the work of mechanics, providing guidance and support as needed Maintain accurate records of all work completed, parts used, and billable hours Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance workshop efficiency What we’re looking for Experience as a workshop coordinator or similar role in the automotive or other industry Strong interest in vehicle maintenance and repair procedures Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills Effective communication and customer service abilities Proficient in using workshop management software and/or other relevant IT systems A positive, solution‑oriented attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment What we offer Ongoing training and development opportunities Flexible work arrangements to maintain a healthy work‑life balance A friendly and collaborative team culture A family owned and run business About us Frank Spice Autos is a well‑established and respected automotive repair and maintenance business serving the Forbes community for over 20 years.
